A Fresh Perspective, Rooted in Community

Community minded, sustainably driven, and committed to keeping Rocky View the best place to live

Bev is a respected community leader, teacher, and fourth generation rancher. I wholeheartedly support her candidacy.” - Kim Magnuson, past Councillor, Div. 2

Why I’m Running

Rocky View County is at a turning point. Growth is accelerating, development pressures are increasing, and residents’ needs are evolving.

It’s time for a new chapter, with fresh ideas, renewed energy, and a long-term vision rooted in local knowledge and experience. I believe that all development must both enhance our community and respect this beautiful land we’ve chosen to call home.

I’m running to shape the future. A future that reflects our values, protects our landscape, and strengthens the connections between people, place, and purpose. As your councillor, I will be visible, accessible, and actively engaged—listening to your concerns and advocating for solutions that truly reflect the needs of our communities.

Bev’s Priorities:

Sustainable Development

As a fourth generation local rancher, an educator, and a prominent community leader, Bev is committed to ensuring that development respects and preserves our high quality of life in the county. Development must align with the needs of the community and have the infrastructure to support it and the surrounding area.

Fiscal Responsibility

Every tax dollar must be spent wisely, on programs that really do make a difference to the community and businesses. This starts with the processes and systems used at County Hall. We needs systems that are easy to navigate and support the needs of residents.

New Parks and Recreational Trails

Resident surveys consistently show strong support for building parks, bike and walking paths. These will not only create recreational enjoyment and enhanced property values, but also safe spaces for our neighbours to walk and cycle.
